Architecture of Moti Masjid Mosque

The mosque is over the course of around six years, beginning in 1648. The three domes on top are of white marble, which adds to the structure's beauty. Half of the building is of red sandstone. The Moti Masjid mosque has three gates, the largest and major gate being the one that stands out on the eastern side and the other two auxiliary gates being on the northern and southern ends. The main prayer hall, a multi-bayed aisle building supported by twelve-sided piers, is on the western perimeter. The square rampart includes an exquisitely crafted octagonal tower, and seven chhatris cover its top. A marble building shaped like a dome is present at each corner of the square. Every mosque platform in the world has three stairs, but this one is the only one that has four. One of the most costly works of Mughal construction, the Moti Masjid cost around 1,60,000 rupees, which was a lot of money back then.
