Important facts to know about Sikandra Fort

The Sikandra Fort in Agra was not always straightforward and common. Over the course of the Mughal Empire’s rule, the fort has been pillaged by a number of adversaries.
The Jats of Bharatpur assaulted the Emperor's mausoleum, exhumed his body, burned his remains, and then stole all the precious stones and gold that had been used to decorate it.
Jahangir, Akbar's son, made an effort to assassinate his father. He even paid goons to attack his father while attempting to poison him. He committed this crime because he desired to rule the Mughal Empire. Even though his father had triumphed over all of his immoral ambitions, he ultimately gave up and appointed Salim, alias Jahangir, as his successor.
