It is an experience to cherish – seeing the most majestic of all big cats in the flesh, at such close quarters. The experience of actually being in the wilderness, amidst diverse types of flora and fauna, many of them unique and valuable, should drive you wild! Therefore, whenever you obtain an opportunity to do so, drop in at Ranthambore National Park, Sawai Madhopur, located in Rajasthan, for a prolonged visit.

Apart from exploring the wildlife sanctuary via jungle safaris, you will also be able to observe the magnificence of the Ranthambore Fort. It is an architectural wonder, dating back to 944 A.D., when the Chauhan Dynasty was in power. UNESCO recognises the Fort, standing atop a 700 ft hill, as a World Heritage site. The Fort is located within the wildlife sanctuary.

Several lakes and ruins dot the area within the National Park and the regions surrounding it. You will never see such greenery and stillness anywhere else. When you have had your fill, look at the paintings displayed at Ranthambore’s School of Art. The ‘tiger’ finds a special place in most paintings. These paintings are used as a medium by students, to educate villagers and others about preserving the species, as well as conserving the environment.

You should not be leaving Rajasthan without paying your respects to the skilled artists at the Village Women Craft arena. Women from the rural populace are keen to offer you a vast array of handmade carpets, tribal rugs, woollen carpets, shawls, bed covers, paintings about wild life, etc. It is a government initiative to help these women remain economically independent and stable.

When you feel that the stillness is getting too much for you, unleash all your energy at the Wild Dragon Adventure Park. The thrills occur within an isolated valley, close to Ranthambore National Park.

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Evening arrival pickup from airport and take you to hotel. Night stay.

Day 02: Sightseeings at Delhi
The day would start immediately after having breakfast at the hotel. The major places to visit would include:

Day 03: Delhi - Agra
The next day, drive down to Agra from Delhi. After completing breakfast, visit the Parliament & President House, which are built in Imperial Style and then drive to Agra. Visit Taj Mahal , Agra Fort Night stay at Agra Hotel.

Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
As the day starts after breakfast at hotel, checkout drive to Jaipur Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. and drive down to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Take rest for the remaining part of the day or indulge in light strolls around the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel, start the day at Jaipur Amer Fort. Jal Mahal Palace,City Palace. Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories. Get back to your hotel after visiting this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 06: Jaipur - Ranthambhore National Park
On this day, drive down to Ranthambhore National Park where you can enjoy the princely wildlife stay. It will be a relaxing day after you reach Ranthambhore. Overnight stay here.

Day 07: Ranthambhore National Park - Delhi
In the morning, visit the Ranthambhore National Park. If luck favours, you can spot a tiger or two roaming in the wild. Lying on the junction of Aravali and Vindhyas, Ranthambhore National Park is 14 Kms from Sawai Madhopur in Eastern Rajasthan. After a wildlife safari, drive down to Delhi. You will be transferred to airport or railway station.
